The Agnipath Scheme, which is a 4-year enlistment plan, has been introduced by the Indian government for the purpose of recruiting non-commissioned personnel into the army, navy, and airforce. The individuals who are chosen to participate in this program are referred to as Agniveers. The Agniveer scheme provides more than 46,000 openings that require a minimum education of 10th, 12th, or ITI.

- The examination will consist of a computer-based test with a total of 50 questions, each carrying one mark.
- The test will be available in both Hindi and English and will be of an objective type, with multiple-choice questions.
- The paper will have two sections, namely Science & Mathematics and General Awareness.
- The Indian Navy Agniveer syllabus and sample papers for the examination are accessible on the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- The paper’s standard will be that of the 10th grade. The duration of the exam will be 30 minutes, and candidates must pass all sections as well as the aggregate.
- The Indian Navy reserves the right to set passing marks for each section and the overall test.
- Candidates will receive a penalty (negative marking) for incorrect answers, and one-fourth (0.25) of the marks allocated for the question will be deducted.
- The Indian Navy has the discretion to allocate the exam center for INET (online examination).
The Indian Navy is inviting online applications from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Government of India for enrollment as Agniveer (MR) for the May 2023 batch (01/2023). The total number of vacancies available for this position is 100, out of which a maximum of 20 positions are reserved for female candidates only. The vacancies will be allocated on an all India basis.
